Website Portfolio Final:
You will be creating a website to showcase your work on a digital platform. You will be using wix.com. The good news is, you can work on this from home if you like. The challenge of this assignment is that you cannot get assistance from me. You are required to watch the instructional videos, and read the instructions. You have plenty of time to complete this assignment, just make sure you read over ALL the details. ENJOY!

Before you begin working on your website get organized!
Begin by making a resume using this site (you will need to set up an account):https://www.canva.com/resumes/templates/

Find your self portrait to use on the about me page.
Find a minimum of 5 of your favorite projects from the past two years in graphic design.
Use google chrome for editing website.
Go to wix.com and set up an account. Make your website name “design portfolio”. Choose a template for photographers/artists.
Go to issuu.com and set up an account. Upload your pdf portfolio. Save the web address of your portfolio for use on your wix website.

These are the pages you will need for your website:
Home Page:
This is the landing page for your website.
On your home page template, click on the images and replace with your own work
Change or delete any text on the home page to relate to your portfolio. If it doesn’t fit with your portfolio, delete the item from the home page.
Save often.
About Me:
You must use an illustration or photo of yourself for the about me section.
Include these details in paragraph form for the about me text:
What grade are you in and what high school are you attending.
Talk about how you are currently taking an ROP Graphic Design class.
Talk about what you most enjoyed about the class.
Talk about what you learned about Graphic Design.
Talk about what your interests are outside of school
Talk about where you see yourself 10 years from now.
Finally, fill in the appropriate contact information in the “contact” page. This can be your school email address.
Process:
Take a picture of your sketchbook for a project that you worked on in class.
in a paragraph answer these questions:
1. What was the name and requirement for this project?
2. What was required to be included in your sketchbook? (look back in blog for exact requirements)
3. How did your sketchbook work influence your final project?
ISSUU Portfolio Page:
Go to the pages menu and click the “add page” button. Name this page “portfolio”. Go to the app market icon and search for issuu. When you find it, click “add to site”. Load your URL from the issuu website to this page.

You will be graded on the following:
Completing the website according to specified instructions
Presenting yourself in a professional and appropriate manner
Correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation with good detail in your project descriptions and about me section
Ability to complete the website without help from the instructor by reading instructions and viewing video tutorials
