ARE THE DOCTORS BOARD CERTIFIED?
Yes, Dr. Min, Dr. Levy, and Dr. Sung are all board certified. Dr. George Min is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, specializing in both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. He is also a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, which only one quarter of all American Board of Plastic Surgery certified surgeons have been accepted. Dr. Lévy is a board-certified Dermatologist specializing in Cosmetic Dermatology. Dr. Sung is a board certified general surgeon and fellowship trained bariatric surgeon.
WHAT TRAINING DO THE DOCTORS HAVE?
Dr. Min completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington. From there he went on to receive his MD from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Min completed a full general surgery residency at the Carilion Clinic in Virginia. He earned a coveted Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Temple University. Following graduation graduation, Dr. Min accepted a mini aesthetic fellowship with the world renowned Dream Medical Group in Seoul, Korea.
IS THE FACILITY ACCREDITED?
Our spacious and fully equipped on-site surgical suite has been certified to the strictest, hospital-level safety standards. Newvue Plastic Surgery is accredited through American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF). AAAASF provides official recognition to facilities that have met 100% of its high standards. Accreditation assures the public that patient safety is the top priority in a facility.
HOW MANY YEARS HAVE THE DOCTORS PRACTICED AS PLASTIC SURGEONS?
Dr. Min has been a practicing plastic surgeon for 11 years. He went into private practice and founded Newvue Plastic Surgery in 2008.
